Finalized Digital Citizenship Course
As part of my Capstone project for my graduate degree, I built out a robust Professional Development course on Digital Citizenship. I administered an Exit Ticket, which generated beneficial quantitative and qualitative data that I used to make revisions to the course and refine the final product. I received a lot of positive praise, but the main concern I heard from several educators was that they would like a demonstration of a Digital Citizenship lesson. I created 2 additional tutorials as a result of the feedback I received: 1. How to setup an Educator account to access Common Sense Education’s curriculum. 2. Demonstration of a Digital Citizenship lesson and how educators can easily implement the curriculum in their classroom. As a result of the feedback, my PD went from theory to application for future educators to access and learn from. I also hosted a one-on-one coaching session with a mentee, and as a result of that session, I modified the outline I had created based on feedback from that session.
