Digital Citizenship Course for Educators
I built a Digital Citizenship course for my fellow educators at Atascadero Middle School. We have been sorely lacking in a cohesive approach to teaching Digital Citizenship, so implementing effective Digital Citizenship practices and tools has been a yearlong goal as I have completed my Master’s Degree. I built a Google Classroom that included all tools developed over the past year through my degree program. I also wrote, designed, and recorded a 30-minute PD session for my colleagues to participate in asynchronously over the Summer months. I built an Exit Ticket to receive feedback on the design of the session. I also wrote a one-on-one coaching session to dive deeper into the content of the PD with my mentee, Holly Hamilton.
