Responsible Use Policies
I recently performed an assessment comparing my district’s Responsible Use Policy with the neighboring district’s to see where we may align and where we may better improve our own policies. Being a Change Agent means advocating for change in alignment with a shared vision for our district’s future. How will we know where we need to improve if we’re not taking a good look beyond our own district to see how other districts are handling policy and procedural development for technology use in their schools?
As a result of this research, I put together a short training about Atascadero Unified School District’s RUP and why it’s an important document for both families and educators.
